Saka made amends by equalised from the penalty spot for the Gunners after Kenny Tete’s foul on Fabio Vieira in the box. Eddie Nketiah then scored Arsenal’s second as they came from behind to take the lead.
The game looked all but over when Fulham had Calvin Bassey sent off on 83 minutes for a second yellow card for fouling Nketiah.
However, Joao Palhinha’s low first-time shot from a corner in the 87th minute gave Fulham a share of the spoils.
